Cal is the alpha buck around here, and he bellows at me if he's not the one getting to do the breeding. No worries - he has outdone himself as a sire, and he will get plenty of breedings for years to come. A small child could handle Cal during full rut, and he walks like a gentleman on a lead to see the ladies, and talks nicely to them. He produces color, correctness, and nice udders. But perhas the most remarkable thing about Cal's kids is their personalities. They are always outgoing, sweet, and have that kind of 'look at me' confidence that does so well in the show ring. Cal will never be for sale, and I do not do outside breedings, but I do occasionally have some of Cal's kids for sale, or you can inquire about reserving a kid from a particular breeding. |

Sorry, but I had a computer crash so do not have a pic of his dam on this computer. Blanche is a huge, lovely white doe that I believe is one leg shy of finished CH - or she may now have it. There should be an on-line chat group just for people who've ever owned Blanche, as the Blanche stories are hilarious. She is definitely a personality kind of girl. I sold Blanche to a breeder in the Pacific NW who wanted her production, and then Rogue was heartbroken - the two were in love - so Rogue went up there as well. |
